YMCA

On 23rd February 2008 I was visit to Young Men's Christian Association

(YMCA) do the English Assignment-Brickfields Street Feeding. It was start on every Saturday from 1.30-3.30 pm.

Due my friend Ying Ying was the same group with me, so I can take her BF car straight to KL Central. No need to take KTM so happy. Because I haven try before take KTM to KL Central, so little bit afraid.

Our English lecturer Ms Pam said will meet us at Mc D there then by walk to YMCA KL. But funny la she, cause she din wait us near at Mc D, wait us at other side near by KTM station. Hard for us find her. After my Korea friend Park Ye Kyeong with her BF arrive, we are just followed Ms. Pam walk to YMCA KL. Along the way we walk Ms. Pam have show us that same special way are for the blind people used. The idea was good cause many blind people around there, so it was work for them. Walking distance 5-10 minutes we are arrive the location are very meaningful.

The person of charge Mr. Paul tell us the do & don’ts, he had arrange the job to us that is serve the street people. Some of them are blind, mute, or homeless. During serve them although it was hot and sweat a lot (I hate sweat) but I enjoy the moment. Because I knew that it’s nothing loss, well I gain a lot.

I saw a family coming there, parents was blind but their child normal. Thanks god blessing. I thinks when their child was born the parents must feel very hard. Because I know it’s not easy as blind parents. Feel something but not to know how to describe. Ai… Every times I taking part such activity likes this, I will felt hard to breathe.

But sometimes I really can’t understood, why on this earth nothing is perfect. Why these people live in suffer. Isn’t I was naïve. Still asking some are impossible. Ai…

Maybe their life are more happiness than me also. That something I don’t know.

But unconscious mind tell me that I will visit as a volunteer again when I free.
